What to include in a bug report
The more precise the description, the faster the cause is found. A few lines are enough.

Which website and which page the problem occurs on.
What you did
The sequence of actions: what you clicked, what you expected to see and what happened instead.
Browser version
The chrome://version page — the first line. The operating system is shown there too.
Extension version
The chrome://extensions/ page, the NoteInSite card.
Screenshot
If the problem is visible, a screenshot helps the most.
Don't send a notes export if it contains personal or work data: a description and a screenshot are almost always enough. If the file is really needed, you'll be asked for it separately.

Suggest a new feature
Describe the task you're solving and what's missing — that makes it easier to come up with a solution that fits more than one scenario. Accepted ideas show up in the version history.
Notes disappeared after reinstalling the browser
Notes are kept in the local storage of the Chrome profile: when the extension or the profile is removed, they are erased permanently. They can only be restored from a file saved with the “Export” button. Make a backup before reinstalling.
The extension conflicts with another add-on
Turn off the other extensions one at a time and check the page again — that's the fastest way to find the culprit. Write which combination causes the problem and include the page address.
